The board gave the approval at its June 26 meeting. Five members voted in favor, while one, Sam Mlynar abstained. One member, Michele Rudolph, was absent.

The restaurant is seeking to expand its on-site parking to 120 spaces as a way to fix a shortage. Additionally, off-site parking arrangements have been secured for room at a nursery and at Pound Ridge Elementary School, which totals 55 spaces.

During the Planning Board meeting, noise after the close of business was a topic of discussion. Clayton Fowler, the board's chairman, urged addressing the matter. Jason Worflar, the inn's general manager, brought up modification of its counseling system, which is used in-house for broken policies, as a measure.

A special permit modification for the inn, meanwhile, is among items for consideration by the Town Board.
