Peter Avellino Will Get My Vote In Pound Ridge

I am writing to offer my support for Peter Avellino, the candidate running for Town Council in Pound Ridge. I have known Peter for more than a decade through our respective involvement in the Pound Ridge Elementary School - Parent Teacher Association, as well as our participation in the 29 Acres Preservation Association, a neighborhood group advocating for environmentally responsible development of all Pound Ridge lands.

Peter tirelessly has volunteered his time for community service through the Pound Ridge Office of Emergency Management and the Pound Ridge Lions Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He has also volunteered his time at numerous Pound Ridge Parent Teacher Association functions while his children were in attendance.

When it comes to environmental protection, Peter is a strong and smart leader, with integrity, that will make effective decisions in the best interest of our town and its residents, necessary to protect our environment and drinking water.  Recently, Peter took on the initiative of chairing an environmental steering committee for the establishment of an annual environmental day that encourages residents to make more responsible choices when it comes to protecting the environment.

Peter takes a very methodical and pragmatic approach to understanding the root causes of issues along with developing and implementing solution sets to resolve problems which I believe he will bring to the Town Board, if elected.

With tremendous enthusiasm, I am backing Peter Avellino as our candidate for Town Council in Pound Ridge. Please come out this Nov. 5 and show your support as well.
