New L.L. Bean Store Set To Open Next Month In Ulster Popular outdoor gear and flannel shirt retailer L.L. Bean will open its newest store in the Hudson Valley next month. Based in Freeport, Maine, L.L. Bean will open its newest retail store in Ulster County on Friday, May 10, at Ulster Crossing in Ulster. Colchester Police Officer Shoots Person During Disturbance, Investigation Underway An investigation is underway after a police officer shot a person during a disturbance at a Connecticut home. The incident occurred in New London County around 6:20 p.m., Thursday, April 18, on Norwich Avenue in Colchester. Deerpark Man, 64, Charged With Selling Drugs/Pills A Hudson Valley man was charged with allegedly selling drugs in the region following a five-month investigation. Orange County resident Thomas McDonnell, age 64, of Deerpark, was arrested on Thursday, April 18, by members of the Deerpark Police Department and the City of Port Jervis Police Department. Man Busted Trying To Open Account At Darien Bank With Fake ID, Police Say Police nabbed a 46-year-old man who allegedly attempted to open an account at a Fairfield County bank with a fraudulent identification. The incident occurred in Darien on Friday, April 12, at the TD Bank at 55 Post Road. According to Sgt. Smash-Grab Robbers Make Off With Thousands In Jewels At Trumbull Mall Three masked thieves stole several thousand dollars worth of jewelry from Kay’s Jewelry store at a Fairfield County mall. The incident occurred in Trumbull around 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, at the Trumbull Mall. Shots Fired Damage Vehicle In Riverhead Police on Long Island are asking the public for help after a vehicle was found with bullet holes. The incident occurred in Riverhead around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, on Oakland Drive South. According to the Riverhead Police, a resident called to report damage to his vehicle.
