Greenwich Police say they responded to the junction of Valley Road and Cos Cob Avenue after receiving a report of an individual sleeping or passed out behind the wheel of a black BMW with the engine still running on Sunday, June 16 around 6:30 a.m.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle’s occupant, identified as Ace Aguilar, 21, of Greenwich, had red, glassy eyes, according to police.

Aguilar was also observed to have an alcoholic odor on his person and breath, police say.

Aguilar was then asked to participate in a series of field sobriety tests, which police say he did not pass.

Aguilar was arrested and charged with operating under the influence. He was released after posting $250 cash bond and is scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Court on Monday, June 24.
