Newark Police Seek Man Who Stole Money From Parked Car

Authorities are seeking the public's help identifying a man they say stole a wallet from a vehicle in Newark.

Shortly before 4:20 a.m., a man removed a wallet containing cash and credit cards from a car parked on Tuxedo Parkway near Ivy Street.

A man stole a wallet with cash and credit cards from a car on Tuxedo Parkway near Ivy Street shortly before 4:20 a.m. Wednesday, Newark Department of Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said in a release.

The suspect, pictured above, is in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and was wearing tight jeans, a hoodie and a skull cap at the time of the incident, Ambrose said.
