Longtime Westchester resident Frank C. Dotolo died in Sebastian, FL on May 6. He was a resident of Vero Beach, FL at the time of his death.

Frank was born on July 26, 1948 to Frank and Marie Dotolo in Irvington. Frank attended Immaculate Conception School in Irvington and was a 1966 graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School.

He attended Westchester Community College and received training as a commercial artist. His career was interrupted when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served a tour of duty in Vietnam as a gunner’s mate on a Swift Boat and was subsequently awarded a Purple Heart.

Upon return to the States he resumed his career as a commercial artist. He moved to Austin, TX in the 1970s and was self-employed until his retirement in 2014.

He retired to Florida and enjoyed one of his passions, fishing. His best buddy, his 16-year-old cat Willie predeceased him, but he is survived by his brother Stephen of Austin, TX and his long-time girlfriend Stella Rossnagly.

He is interred along with his parents in the Bushnell National Military Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. He will be missed by his many friends.
