Storage Center to Open Thursday in White Plains

Director of Development Edward Arredondo says the building on 179 Westmoreland Ave. will feature 14 different room sizes from 12 to 400 square feet, accommodating projects as small as cleaning out the basement or as large as changing addresses.

Since many of his customers are women, Arredondo said he has kept safety and comfort in mind when designing his White Plains center. That’s why there is always soft music playing, art on the walls and open balconies on all three floors.

“It’s usually a woman’s idea to clean out the garage,” he joked.
