To the editor:
The family of Chen Santoro (recently deceased) owes so much gratitude and appreciation to her best friend, Jackie De Lazzero, whose unselfish and unconditional care and friendship gave Chen a life’s purpose.
A good friend is seldom found, let alone a special one. From the beginning of their friendship over 40 years ago to Chen’s final breath, Jackie was always there for her through bad times and great times.
Jackie took Chen under her wing and gave honest advice, a helping hand and the kind of love a friendship brings as it blossoms and grows.
This is a tribute of our love to Jackie who lost her best friend and sits alone with a hurt that will take time to heal.
Jackie, thanks is not enough for your true friendship.
