PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- The Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library is offering Camille Linen’s free “Art of English” ESL classes through May 23.
Classes meet Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. at the library.
Topics for this conversational class with some journal writing are taken from Linen's website, artofenglish.net.
Linen is an ESL instructor for BOCES’ (Board of Cooperative Education Services) Adult Literacy program at the Carver Center in Port Chester. She has been teaching new immigrants the English language through the arts, history and culture of the U.S. for 15 years.
