NEW YORK -- Pace University's Entrepreneurship Lab and MIT Enterprise Forum of NYC are partnering to host a forum discussion on shared economy startups entitled "Uber-ization: Overvalued Business Model or Underexploited Platform."

The talk, to be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 at Pace Plaza in Manhattan, aims to examine the rapidly growing 'shared economy' start up world. Companies such as Uber, Lyft, Airbnb, Handy, and myriads of others have challenged traditional employment through this revolutionary business principle.

Among the speakers are Bruce Bachenheimer, Executive Director of Pace's Entrepreneurship Lab, Michael Schrage, Research Fellow at the MIT Center for Digital Business, Umang Dua, Founder and COO of Handy, David Manela, Chief Revenue Officer of Fiverr, Allison Tepley, SVP Marketing & Business Development at AXIAL.net and Joseph Terzi, Co-Founder & CEO of PRIV.
