Suspects Escape After Chase On Parkway In Westchester: Developing

A police pursuit on a parkway in Westchester ended with suspects escaping capture after fleeing their vehicle, authorities said. 

The pursuit ended near the Saw Mill River Parkway on Ravensdale Road in Hastings-on-Hudson, where the suspects fled from their vehicle into the village.

The incident happened on Saturday, June 3 on the Saw Mill River Parkway when a Westchester County Police pursuit eventually ended in Hastings-on-Hudson at Ravensdale Road, according to the Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department. 

There, authorities said the suspects left their vehicle and fled into the village, adding that the pursuit attracted the presence of helicopters, K9 officers, and SWAT teams. 

After several hours, the suspects were confirmed to have left the village, Hastings-on-Hudson Police Chief David Dosin said just after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 4. 

Authorities have not yet released more information about the pursuit or if the suspects have since been captured.
