Westport Man Charged With Threatening After Domestic Violence Complaint WESTPORT, Conn. -- A 37-year-old Westport man was charged with second-degree threatening after a domestic violence complaint Tuesday, police said. Officers responded to a complaint where the victim had reportedly left the house after a threat was made against that person by the suspect, Matthew Carlson, police said.  Officers arrested Carlson after he arrived at the location, police said. Carlson was unable to post bond and was issued a court date of Aug. 25 at Norwalk Court.
