Later she served as Managing Editor at CD-ROM World and then Internet World, before moving to freelance writing.

Her articles have appeared in the New York Times, L.A. Times, Folio, Portable Computing, Internet Shopper and other websites and magazines that no longer exist. She ghost-wrote and designed an award-winning diet and fitness book for a popular fitness personality and, currently, loves to tell stories about people and animals.

With 1,152 Avocados A Day, Guac Time Opens First CT Location In Norwalk With a name like Guac Time, you’d expect the growing chain of restaurants would go through a lot of avocados. It does. Ford Winter, Former Mamaroneck HS Swimming & Diving Coach, 85 Ford Winter was born on June 26, 1937 and passed away on November 18, 2022. He taught physical education and coached swimming and diving in the Mamaroneck Public Schools. Ford was particularly successful with his coaching of MHS divers, developing them into champions.
