Pleasantville schools opened two-hour late Wednesday after a threat was made by a student, according to Pleasantville Police.
Police were notified around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday by a school district administrator of a threat that a student made against Pleasantville Middle School.
Police said they interviewed the student and his parents and deemed the threat not be credible, police said.
"The Pleasantville Police Department will continue to cooperate with school officials to ensure a safe environment for students and staff at all three local campuses," police said in a statement.
