Woman, 39, Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car On Long Island

Police are searching for a dark-colored vehicle in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a 39-year-old woman with serious injuries.

The incident took place around 7:20 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Baldwin, when the woman was walking along Milburn Avenue, Nassau County Police said.

According to detectives, while walking northbound in front of 2387 Milburn Ave., the woman was struck by a northbound vehicle that left the scene.

As a result of the collision the victim suffered multiple trauma injuries, police said.

She was transported to an area hospital and is listed in serious but stable condition.

Detectives are looking for a dark-colored vehicle that should have passenger side front end and hood damage.
