PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pleasantville-based nonprofit Hope’s Door held its Annual Fall Luncheon on Friday, Oct. 11, at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel in White Plains during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The luncheon's theme, “Broadway Matinee,” allowed Hope's Door to "shine a spotlight" on domestic violence while bringing together the glitz and glamour of Broadway.
The keynote of the luncheon was family attorney and advocate Alayne Katz, who shared her own personal story of domestic violence.
Tony-nominated and Emmy Award-winning Actress Liz Calloway and Conductor and Musical Director Susan Anderson performed during the event.
