Located at 2120 Broadhollow Road in Farmingdale, The Homestead, originally opened in Oyster Bay in 1896, serves a generous variety of classic appetizers, hearty entrees, fresh burgers, pasta and more.

On the menu, you’ll find all of your favorites when it comes to bar fare, including nachos, potato skins and quesadillas, to name a few.

The Homestead is particularly known for its never-frozen and never pre-cooked chicken wings, which come drenched in signature sauces like teriyaki, spicy peanut, sweet bourbon and honey Sriracha.

On the heartier side, you’ll find crowd-pleasers like homemade meatloaf, shepherd’s pie and lobster mac n’ cheese as well as protein-packed Porterhouse steaks, rib-eyes, veal chops and more.

The Homestead is off to a running start with a 4.5/5-star rating on Facebook. Guests have already begun to provide positive feedback about the trendy atmosphere, the generous portion sizes and the overall service quality.

“Great new family restaurant with fantastic vibes. Televisions everywhere. Great bar. Staff and owners create a family environment. We have been there twice in one week, and they remembered us when we walked in the door the second time… Meals are huge! Prices are great,” wrote Nancy E. in a Nov. 5 review.

The Homestead is open for lunch and dinner throughout the week. For more information, visit the website.
