Jacob Burns Film Center Screens, Discusses 'Bikes vs Cars'

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville will screen the 2015 documentary "Bikes vs Cars" on Sunday, June 5.

"Bikes vs Cars," written and directed by Fredrik Gertten, examines the struggle for bicyclists in a society dominated by cars, and the enormous changes that could take place if more cities moved away from car-centric models.

The screening will be followed by a discussion and reception. The discussion will feature Veronica Vanterpool, executive director of the Tri-State Transportation Campaign, and Dan Welsh, co-chair of the Land Use and Transportation Committee of Sustainable Westchester.
