The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to residents in Westchester regarding the residency of 35-year-old Eri Washington, who has reported a move from an apartment on East Lincoln Avenue to a residence on Franklin Avenue in Mount Vernon.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Washington as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense." He has also been designated as a sexually violent sex offender.

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Washington unlawfully imprisoned, had sexual contact and intercourse with his victim in May 2017. He was arrested by the Elmsford Police Department and convicted of first-degree sexual abuse by forcible compulsion. Washington was sentenced to a term of 10 years probation and six months in local jail in October last year and is now under the jurisdiction of the Mount Vernon City Police Department.
