In February, Albert Orjuela of Valhalla was arrested and charged with forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child following a complaint about alleged sexual contact with at least two minors. Orjuela was arrested the day after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On Thursday, July 18, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpnio, Jr., announced that Orjuela has been sentenced to six years probation with sex offender conditions with a six-year order of protection and three years with sex offender conditions and a five year order of protection after pleading guilty to sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Orjuela’s sentences will run concurrently. The District Attorney’s Office noted that “probation is conditional upon five-year orders of protection for 17 witnesses.”

On Facebook, Orjuela identifies himself as a Girl Scouts leader, and he has made posts referring to himself as a “Girl Scout dad.”

Scarpino said that on the charge of sexual abuse, he inappropriately touched one child victim. In the other instance, he acted in an inappropriate sexual manner in front of the child victim.
