Hackensack Art Exhibit Shows State Of Women's Equality

HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Bergen County Commission on the Status of Women, launched by the Department of Human Services, will host a monthlong art exhibit on women's equality beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 3.

The exhibit was the idea of Commission Administrator Jamie Ziegelhofer, who sent requests to every K-12 school in the county for artwork from students.

Each artist whose work is displayed will be invited to the unveiling on Aug. 3 at 10:30 a.m., when local dignitaries will give speeches, and certificates will be handed out to the artists.
