New Round Of Taconic State Parkway Lane Closures Scheduled

Motorists are advised that lane closures may continue for the southbound Taconic State Parkway between Underhill Avenue and the Croton Reservoir Bridge in Yorktown so crews may perform construction activities, weather permitting.

Daytime single lane closures are expected from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. and from 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Monday, July 24, and Friday, July 28. Double lane closures are expected to occur overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Motorists should expect delays.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
