Spring Valley Trustees Cut MLK Center Camp Funding SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. – The annual summer camp held by the Martin Luther King Multipurpose Center in Spring Valley may not take place after funding from the village was far less than needed, according to lohud.com. Spring Valley trustees offered $32,000 in funding for this year's camp, down from $114,000 a year ago, lohud.com said. The camp is a six-week program for low- to moderate-income children with three meals a day, academic reinforcement and recreational activities, reported lohud.com. The team completed a perfect season with a victory over Engine 1 in the championship game. Saddle Brook's Little League has been in operation since 1953 and is for children 4-12 years old.

Stamford Police Respond To Shots Fired Call STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford police believe two gunmen were likely firing at each other early Sunday morning on Fairfield Avenue near Young Dixon Way, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police told the Stamford Advocate that a shots fired call came in around 4:30 a.m. Authorities found shell casings from two different guns onsite, reported the Stamford Advocate.
