A Peekskill woman is facing charges after she was caught driving with active license suspensions in Philipstown, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.
Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley Jr. says that a Deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on State Route 9 in the Town of Philipstown on Tuesday, April 9 around 2 p.m.
The deputy initiated a traffic stop, and further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as 51-year-old Marlo Pavone of Peekskill, allegedly had a suspended New York State Driver’s License with seven active suspensions on three separate dates, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.
Pavone was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
Pavone was ticketed and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Philipstown Justice Court at a future date and time.
