A Peekskill man who was lost ended up being charged with DWI after a Kent Police officer stopped to offer him help, according to the Kent Police.
Davin Vazquez, 49, was sitting in his car on Towners Road with the flashers on when Officer Angel Rivera stopped to offer help. After talking with Vazquez the officer realized that he was intoxicated and he was arrested instead of being given directions, police said.
Vazquez was charged with DWI and released on $120 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
