Award Offered For Info On Suspect In Buchanan Robbery

New York State Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the those responsible for a robbery that occurred on Monday, Feb. 4, in the village of Buchanan.

Police are on the hunt for a suspect who robbed a small business at knifepoint and tied up one of the victims.

Police said the incident took place before 10:00 a.m., in a small business located on Bleakley Avenue near Broadway. The victims told state police that a dark-skinned male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, with a white and red face mask held them at knifepoint and that one person was tied up by the suspect.

The suspect fled then the scene with an unknown amount of cash in a black four-door sedan in an unknown direction.
