PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Thomas F. Levins of Peekskill died July 29. He was 66.
Levins was born Aug. 26, 1946, in New York City, to John and Petrina DeFalco Levins. He was a World War II history buff. He was an auto mechanic for the Hertz Corporation for 38 years before retiring in 2008.
Levins is survived by his wife, Lorraine Levins of Peekskill; children, Thomas F. Levins II of Croton; sisters, Theresa Dunning (George) and Frances Scott; many nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents; stepfather, Ralph Lievre; and brother, John.
Arrangements are private, with a Memorial Service to be planned for at a later date.
