Barbara Lothian Sweet, 99, Formerly Of Peekskill

BALLSTON LAKE, N.Y. - Barbara Lothian (Fisher) Sweet of Ballston Lake, formerly of Peekskill/Cortlandt Manor, died July 23. She was 99.

Sweet was born July 15, 1914, in Ossining, to George and Margaret (Hunter) Fisher. She graduated from: Peekskill High School in 1932, Oneonta Normal School (now Oneonta College) and New York University in NYC. She taught school in the Yorktown School district until the birth of her first child.

Sweet is survived by children: Karl W. (Carolyn) Sweet of Cortlandt Manor, and twins, Judith and Jeffrey, of Ballston Lake and Peekskill, respectively; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Calvary Episcopal Church, Burnt Hills. Her cremains will be buried in the family plot in Meadowlawn Cemetery, Petersburgh.
