  • Peekskill Committee of the Whole meeting: 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Paul Schwerman Conference Room and is open to the public. City Hall is at 840 Main St.

Tuesday, Aug. 21

  • Noo Moves Back To School Ceremony: 4:30-5:30 p.m. Book bags will be distributed to city youth courtesy of Noo Moves Entertainment. There will be light refreshments and live entertainment. Kiley Youth Center. 709 Main St.
  • Peekskill City School District Board of Education meeting: 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Peekskill Middle School cafeteria. 212 Ringgold St.

Thursday, Aug. 16

  • Sessions with JP Patrick & Friends:  8:30 to 11 p.m. Join sax man and vocalist JP Patrick and his band as they rehearse, work and play for each other and for you. Admission is free for patrons. 12 Grapes. 12 N. Division St.
  • Blues Traveler: 8 p.m. The Grammy winning veteran rockers will perform live. Tickets start at $30. Paramount Center for the Arts. 1008 Brown St.
