Friday, April 12

The Myles Mancuso Band: 7:30 p.m. Mancuso’s band has opened for Levon Helm, Buddy Guy and Derek Trucks and his band has performed at festivals such as Mountain Jam, the Sarasota Blues Fest and NY State Blues Fest and Gathering of the Vibes in 2012. Sex and Breakfast: 9:30 p.m. Keyboardist Mike Ventimiglia and vocalist Stephanie Harrison have joined horses to create a new band that blends hypnotic electronic dance hooves with Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and more. Saturday, April 13

Hendrick Hudson School District Meet and Greet: 8:30 -10 a.m. Superintendent Brian Monahan and three members of the school board will be holding an informal meet and greet. All members of the community are invited to give comments or ask questions. Dunkin Donuts, 113 Albany Post Road, Buchanan.

Seed To Feed: 11 a.m. Children can plant a variety of seeds and watch their own plants grow at home. Registration required. Sign up in person or call (914)-271-6612 during library hours. Children six and under will need an adult to stay with them during the workshop.  Croton Free library, 171 Cleveland Dr. Croton-on-Hudson.

Penny Social: 4 p.m.  All proceeds will go to the Maria Fareri Childrens Hospital, Hudson Valley Hospital Center, Kathleen Marks Foundation, and Happiness is Camping, a camp for kids with cancer. Among silent auction items are autographed items by Darrelle Revis, Jerry Rice, Herman Edwards, Mark Sanchez and more. Jazz With The Rory Stuart Trio: 7:30 p.m. Stuart returns to his hometown to offer musical innovation to jazz grounded in the work of Coltrane, Monk, Miles and many others. This rare performance in Westchester County is free and open to the public. Croton Free library, 171 Cleveland Dr. Croton-on-Hudson.

The Track: 9:30 p.m.  The Track was formed "to create and perform original music amidst a local climate dominated by cover bands. Their songs range from down tempo, mood pieces to pop/rock vehicles for rich harmonies and improvisation. Their influences rang from Aimee Mann and John Mayer to Jane's Addiction and Beck. Admission is a $10 entertainment fee or $5 with a dinner entrée.12 Grapes,12 N. Division St., Peekskill.

Sunday, April 14

Kids Open Mic Night: 5:30 p.m. A showcase for talented musicians and singers age 17 and under. Sign-up begins at 5:15 p.m. Kids under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. There will be a $10 burger special for all kids. Admission is free. 12 Grapes,12 N. Division St., Peekskill.
