PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – The Peekskill Brewery is gearing up for its fourth annual pig roast to be bigger and better than ever.
This year, it will be featuring not one, but two pigs from local Hemlock Hills farm.
For $25 dollars, you get locally raised and roasted pork, savory sides and dessert. The roast begins Sunday at 1 p.m. and goes until 6 p.m. in the brewery's north parking lot.
Meat lovers will be pleased to know the brewery is rolling out more than just pork. There will also be whole roasted birds and game, barbecued ribs, grafton and swiss chard sausage, and kielbasa.
Chef Sean Corcoran has lined up a long list of sides including fresh oysters, fingerling potatoes, salads, corn and pasta.
Finish it off with fresh watermelon or ambrosia salad for a sweet ending to your summer feast.
A cash bar will be available along with complimentary entertainment by performers DJ Dan and Evan Watson.
Tickets are being sold in advance and are going fast. The brewery highly recommends advanced booking as walk-in seats are limited.
