PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. -- Lakeland Green will look to complete the summer season undefeated and defend its title Thursday in the Hudson Valley Summer Field Hockey League final at Putnam Valley. Lakeland (8-0) will play Ossining (6-2) for the title, 9 p.m., culminating with the placing games and 10th season. Putnam Valley (5-3) will play Carmel Red (6-1-1) in the third-place game, also scheduled for 9 p.m. The remainder of the schedule will begin, 6 p.m., with Horace Greeley playing Hen Hud for 13th place. The 7 p.m. games will have Mahopac facing John Jay-East Fishkill for ninth place and Panas meeting Pleasantville for 11th place. Preceeding the final, at 8 p.m., are Lakeland Gold taking on Yorktown for fifth place and Harrison against Pawling for seventh place.
