OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Claremont School in Ossining conducted an unannounced lockdown drill on Monday.
The drill was conducted under the supervision of the Ossining Village Police Department and lasted approximately 15 minutes, officials said.
The lock down drill was issued to aid in the school's preventive measures to ensure the safety of all of building occupants in a similar manner to a fire drill, said school officials.
