This is a time where it is important to ask you to vote for Catherine Borgia for our County Legislator this November 7. This is an off year for elections, but to promote the values I share and hope you do as well, it is important to go to the polls this year.
Catherine has worked at the Westchester county level to preserve green spaces and to create earned sick leave for families. She has been involved in a bill that would ban gun shows from the County Center and has drafted the Westchester Immigration Protection Act to ensure that immigrants in Westchester county feel safe in reaching out to the police. She is on the Indian Point task force committee to help with the transition of closing down Indian Point safely as well as addressing the fiscal needs of those communities whose jobs and taxes will be affected by this close. When she was Ossining Town Supervisor she worked successfully to share police services with Westchester county to reduce costs.
If these values are your values please vote for Catherine for County Legislator November 7 as well as George Latimer for County Executive.
If you are so moved, you can make a contribution to her campaign at www.CatherineBorgia.com.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and for your consideration.
