Avoid The Heat At Cooling Centers In Stratford

STRATFORD, Conn. -- With a heat wave currently in the area, Stratford residents are reminded that all municipal buildings are available as cooling centers during normal business hours.

Additionally, all Stratford fire stations (Main Street, Oronoque Lane, Lordship and Huntington Road) are designated as cooling centers.

Any resident seeking a respite from the heat may go to a local firehouse to get some relief. All residents are asked seek out the station officer who will guide them where to go upon arrival.
