Lucy N. DeSilva, 92, Lifelong Ossining Resident, Seamstress

OSSINING, N.Y. - Lucy N. (Pace) DeSilva, a lifelong Ossining resident, died June 2. She was 92.

DeSilva was born March 26, 1922, in Ossining, to Frank and Mary Juliano Pace. She was educated in the Ossining Public Schools. DeSilva worked as a seamstress for the former Stuart Dress Co. in Ossining. She was a parishioner of St. Ann's Church Sodality, Senior Citizens and the Golden Agers Club of Ossining.

DeSilva is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann DeSilva-Johnson of Croton on Hudson; son, David P. DeSilva of Hopewell Junction; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Adam P. DeSilva; two brothers; and four sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 5 at St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining.
