Ann Mary Forgacs, 79, Formerly Of Ossining, Worked For Maryknoll Missionary

GRANVILLE, N.Y. - Ann Mary Forgacs of Granville, formerly of Ossining died Saturday, Nov. 9. She was 79.

Forgacs was born July 29, 1934, in Albany, daughter of Mary (O'Connor) Judge and Thomas Judge. She graduated from Mary Immaculate High School in Ossining and attended the College of St. Rose in Albany. After marriage she lived with her husband in Westchester for many years. She was also active in the Catholic Church as a eucharistic minister, in Cursillo and the Parish Council. She worked at the Maryknoll Missionary in Ossining, until her retirement in 1996, when she moved to Granville.

Forgacs is survived by her husband, John L. Forgacs; daughters, Theresa, Patricia, Karen and Mary and their families; sons, Thomas, Andrew, John Kevin and Stephen and their families; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents.

Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 23 Bulkley Ave., Granville. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at the Holy Sepluchre Cemetery in East Greenbush.
