Angelina Matranga, 100, Of Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. - Angelina Matranga of Ossining died Oct. 15. She was 100.

Matranga was born Jan. 17, 1913, in Ossining, to Antonio and Caroline Ripostella. She was a member of St. Ann’s Sodality.

Matranga is survived by her sons, Paul Dolcimascolo of Myrtle Beach S.C., Anthony Dolcimascolo of Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.; daughter, Josephine Warner Connor of Pawleys Island, S.C.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John; brothers, Pat, Jack, Nick; sisters, Catherine, Emily and Theresa; and first husband, Cosimo Dolcimascolo.

Calling hours are Sunday, Oct. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St., Ossining. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21 at St. Ann’s Church, burial at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
