Albert Daniel Gargiulo, 90, Of Ossining, WWII Navy Veteran

OSSINING, N.Y. - Albert Daniel Gargiulo of Ossining died July 14. He was 90.

Gargiulo was born Dec. 14, 1922, in Brooklyn. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Langley during World War II, decorated with 11 battle stars in the Pacific theater. A graduate of New York School of Printing, he worked for the Government Printing Office. He was parishioner of St. Ann's Church.

Gargiulo is survived by his wife, Anne Marie (Casale) Gargiulo; daughters, Diane Greenwald (Larry), Gloria McQuaid (Michael), Anne Marie DiScala (Jerry); and two grandsons.

Calling hours are Wednesday, July 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ossining Funeral Home, 45 South Highland Avenue, Ossining, NY 10562. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at St. Ann's RC Church, 25 Eastern Ave., Ossining. Interment will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
