OSSINING, N.Y. – The Ossining Bicentennial sculpture exhibit and a local basketball phenom were among the top stories this week in Ossining:
- The beginning of the six-month Ossining Bicentennial sculpture exhibit started Sunday. The large-scale, 25-piece outdoor exhibit will be on display beginning through October throughout the Village of Ossining’s historic buildings and downtown waterfront area.
- Ossining basketball phenom Saniya Chong was once again getting national attention as Sports Illustrated writer Richard Deitsch recently mentioned Chong in a piece highlighting UConn as the next girls' basketball dynasty.
- More than 100 Westchester County residents packed Bedford Town Court House Wednesday night, as town supervisors, housing agencies and land use law experts weighed in on Westchester County’s affordable housing situation.
