From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. any unwanted, unused, or expired prescription drugs can be dropped off in the lobby of the Birdall-Fagan Police Facility at 86-88 Spring Street in Ossining.

“This initiative addresses a vital public safety and public health issue,” said CTC’s Heidi Hellmich in a press release. “Medicines that languish in home cabinets are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse.”

Ossining Communities That Care is a coalition of individuals and organizations working together to prevent underage drinking and reduce the use of alcohol and drugs in the community.
