The fun gets underway with KJ Denhert kicking-off the party at 7 p.m., with the fireworks folloiwng at 9:15 p.m. Following the fireworks, the band Powderfinger will keep the celebration going with music late into the night. In addition, refreshments will be offered in the food court area, so bring some cash.
To make sure the night is a success, the Ossining Police Department if offering a few parking tips beginning with the fact that NO parking will be allowed on the west side of the train station, with signs being posted today restricting parking from 2 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, June 30.
Police are asking commuters to park on the east side of the tracks or get a ride to work. Cars left in the lot after 2 p.m. will be towed. Parking will be open on the east side all day.
Be sure and bring blankets or lawn chairs and head for the riverfront for the best view.
