- The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Westchester County due to heavy rainfall of more than 4 inches predicted between Thursday and Saturday. Showers began early Thursday morning and thunderstorms hit the area in the afternoon.
- An Ossining man faces felony charges of driving while intoxicated after he was allegedly stopped by police on the Sprain Brook Parkway, according to the New York State Police website. State police in Hawthorne arrested 37-year-old Wilmar A. Ospina on June 8 at approximately 2:25 a.m. and charged him with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies.
- Ossining Superintendent of Schools Raymond Sanchez addressed the upcoming summer construction on Ossining High School and Anne M. Dormer Middle School during a meeting Monday night.
