Each year, the farm holds the festival, which draws "so many people, you have to fight for parking, just to get in," says John Plasko, owner of Plasko's Farm.
The festival features activities such as make your own scarecrow, games, crafters, community booths, pumpkins, fall decor, music, and food.
The farm also has a corn maze — the Monster Mystery Maze — with more than 1.5 miles of trails. A portion of each admission is donated to St. Vincent’s Swim Across the Sound.
The farm offers several rows of pumpkins to choose from, hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill, and the sound of music throughout.
There is fun for people of all ages. One top attraction was miniature donkeys for all to pet. Each donkey has a cross across their back.
The farm also offers hayrides around the attractions.
Next Sunday, Oct.9, will be the second day for the annual festival. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 670 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull.
