OSSINING, N.Y. - Kathleen Stambaugh, 56, a lifelong resident of Ossining, died suddenly March 21 at her home.
Stambaugh was born April 14, 1955 to the late Bobby and Ginny Farrell of Ossining. She attended Ossining schools and graduated Ossining High School in 1973. For several years, Stambaugh worked in the office of Dr. Richard Finewood.
For 30 years, she lived in Briarcliff with her family. In 2005, they moved to the Hudson Point Condominium complex in Ossining, where her late husband was a former president of the board.
She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Lanny, in November 2011. She is survived by her children, Korisa, Scott and Kelly; her brother, Gary (Jeanne) Farrell; three nieces; a great-nephew; and several cousins, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Leach and Thomas Funeral Home in Ossining. The funeral Mass will be at noon Monday at St. Anns Church in Ossining, followed by a private interment.
