My Sisters' Place is a nonprofit that supports survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking through direct services, advocacy and community education.
In her new role, Tukman will oversee all of My Sisters' Place counseling, shelter and outreach programs.
Tukman is responsible for the recruitment, development, and ongoing management of program directors and staff.
Tukman joins My Sisters' Place with more than 28 years of program management, development and leadership experiences.
For more than nine years, Tukman provided leadership at Girl Scouts of the USA, and was focused on the creation of innovative programming on leadership development, violence prevention and healthy living.
Tukman also has extensive experience as an executive coach working with nonprofit professionals and master of business administration students of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
Tukman received a master's in social work from Boston University. She holds a bachelor of science degree in behavioral disabilities and vocational rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin School of Education.
My Sister's Place headquarters is at 1 Water St., #390, in White Plains.
