OSSINING, N.Y. - Charlotte M. Felleman, a former Ossining resident, died Oct. 31 at Wingate at Dutchess nursing home in Fishkill, N.Y. She was 91.
A Private First Class in the US Women's Army Corp during World War II, she worked as a supervisor at Reader's Digest in Pleasantville for 12 years before retiring in 1975. She moved to Fishkill in 2000.
Mrs. Felleman was born in Staten Island, N.Y. on Feb. 6, 1920 to Frederick and Winifred Agnes Cecelia Kilgallon Bach. She married the late John Felleman on Apr. 13, 1947 in the Bronx.
She is survived by her daughters Jean M. Fiorito of Hopewell Junction, N.Y. and Diane M. Boroom of Cold Spring, N.Y., her sons John P. Felleman of Vero Beach, Fla. and Michael H. Felleman of Hopewell Junction, her sister Dorothy McLoughlin, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Felleman was predeceased by her daughter Cathleen A. Cavalier, her son Paul S. Felleman, her brother Donald Bach and her sisters Winifred Conroy and Gloria Bachman.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at McHoul Funeral Home in Hopewell Junction. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls, N.Y. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley with military honors.
