That's where you'll find a 50,000-light display complete with a light tunnel and a full-size Santa's workshop. The lawn decor is done by 61-year Andre Platt, a lifelong Ossining resident, who has created a Christmas extravaganza on his front and backyards for 26 years.

This year additions include a castle wall, new designs and improvement to already existing displays. The whole thing takes three months to put together and is open to the public every night throughout the holiday season.

Hours are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays; to 10 p.m. weekends, and all night on Christmas Eve.

"Opening night," as Platt calls it, is Saturday, December 10 at 7 p.m. where the family invites the entire neighborhood to come by for hot cocoa, donuts, and a visit from Santa.

Attendees are asked to bring a wrapped gift addressed to their son(s) and/or daughter(s) from Santa, along with another, unwrapped gift of a non-perishable item, i.e., socks, wool hats, underwear, gloves, etc., for someone less fortunate.

December 10th is the only night with Santa and the gifts/donations, but people are encouraged to walk through the display until it's taken down the first week of January.
