Harborfest Exhibit.  11:00 a.m. As part of the Ossining Bicentennial Harborfest celebration on the waterfront, the Arts Westchester Folk Life Program, in association with the Ossining Boat and Canoe Club presents, From Shore to Shore: Boat Builders and Boatyards of the Lower Hudson Valley — An exhibition of the waterfront occupational traditions of boat building and fishing on the Hudson River.  Free.  Ossining Boat and Canoe Club, Secor Road and Westerly Avenue (Louis Engel Park), Ossining.

Saturday, September 21

Ossining Matters 11th Annual 5k Run/2 Mile Walk.  12:00 a.m. Raise funds for Ossining Matters Education Foundation to benefit Ossining’s public schools. Enter the 5K Run or 2 Mile Walk. New route this year includes walk or run along roads overlooking the Hudson with runners continuing on trails in the Edward M. Wheeler Crawbuckie Nature Preserve.  $10-$20.  Waterfront next to Ossining Boat and Canoe Club, Westerly Road across from Ossining Train Station, Ossining.

Sunday, September 22

Kath Buckell and her band with special guest John Batdorf.  2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Ossining Library Foundation’s critically acclaimed Words and Music Concert Series presented by TD Bank kicks off its fall season on Sunday, September 22nd at 2:00 p.m. with a performance by Kath Buckell and her band plus special guest John Batdorf.  Free.  Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Avenue, Ossining.
