OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Town of Ossining has postponed the community stage build at Louis Engel Park that was scheduled for Saturday until Saturday, Oct. 26.
The town said the pilings for the stage are taking longer to complete than originally anticipated and that further construction can not continue until they are.
The build was pushed off three weeks due to Columbus Day Weekend on Oct. 12 and Fall Family Fun Day on Oct. 19, the town said.
The old stage had to be torn down due to excessive damage during Superstorm Sandy.
Louis Engel Park is located near Secor and Westerly Roads in Ossining.
